Prior to joining On Ideas, Meredith worked with Harte Hanks, one of the nation’s largest Direct Marketing firms. There she managed several, complex accounts like South Trust Bank, Allmerica Financial and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Now Meredith applies her skills on behalf of many of our clients over a communications spectrum that includes DRTV, Direct Mail, Consumer Promotions and Interactive for both direct-to-consumer and B2B campaigns. In other words, she’s got a full plate and likes it that way. In fact, even before graduating from Jacksonville University, Meredith was already in-the-biz as an intern with the American Lung Association, working on teen anti-smoking campaigns. And speaking her university days, can you guess what degree Meredith holds? A Bachelor of Science in Dance Studies (when you think about it, probably the best preparation one can have for an advertising career). What frustrates you the most? Miscommunication! Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients? Once I collect my thoughts, I like gathering together with a group and laying my ideas out for feedback. I always welcome diverse opinions and consider brainstorming to be an unfailing stepping-stone toward bigger and better ideas. What was “your finest moment,” the thing you’re most proud of? Being a Navy wife and a mother. Both are rewarding in such different ways!
